Important: These dates are widely recognised as public holidays across multiple European countries; however, some variations may apply regionally. Parcel collection and delivery services will operate only on regular business days, and no collections will take place on these holidays.

Upcoming U.S. Tariff Changes and What They Mean for You

Following the announcement by President Trump yesterday regarding new global tariffs, we have provided a summary below to clarify potential impacts on your shipments.

Given the recent nature of this announcement, additional information is likely to emerge in the coming days.

Key points from President Trump's announcement:

  • • Effective from 5 April 2025, the United States will impose new global tariffs on shipments valued above the current $800 de minimis exemption.

  • • Starting from 2 May 2025, shipments originating from China and Hong Kong will no longer benefit from the de minimis exemption. These goods will be liable for duties and taxes, irrespective of their declared value.
