Mainland Europe Delivery Delays

Severe weather across Northern and Eastern Europe is currently impacting deliveries to mainland Europe.

The French authorities have enforced motorway driving bans until 20:00 today, alongside significant congestion at the Channel Tunnel. In addition, hazardous road conditions across multiple European regions are causing further delays.

As a result, please expect 24-hour delays on all European deliveries for the remainder of the week, with the potential for delays of up to 48 hours as backlogs are cleared.

We are doing everything possible to minimise disruption and will keep you and your customers informed of any delays where contact details are available.

Ireland Delivery Delays

Severe weather conditions in the Irish Sea have caused disruption to services to the Republic of Ireland.

Due to storm damage, the Port of Holyhead has been forced to close. To minimise the impact, we are rerouting trailers through alternative ports where possible.

Despite these measures, we are anticipating up to 24-hour delays on deliveries to the Republic of Ireland throughout this week.

Our teams are working hard to reduce disruption, and we will notify your customers of any delays where contact details have been provided.

National Strike in Belgium

A national strike in Belgium, driven by union protests against government reforms, is significantly disrupting logistic services.

Charleroi Airport is closed, and Brussels Airport faces widespread flight cancellations. Public transport, including buses, trams, and underground trains in Brussels, is largely suspended, though some trains are operational. The Port of Antwerp, Europe’s second-largest, has halted shipping until Wednesday, with over 100 vessels delayed in the North Sea.

These disruptions may impact delivery schedules and cargo operations. We are monitoring the situation and working to minimize delays.
