This was the second time I needed to post camping gear back home to Ireland from Hungary. In the past I used Hungarian Post for that, which worked quite well but cost a lot too. This time I tried to use courier services directly — no dice: GLS stated they don't post to Ireland, DPD didn't respond to inquiries and their app had progress broken at the stage of mandatory destination postcode lookup, UPS and the like cost even more than the Post. Ecoparcel solved this last mile problem very well: competitive pricing, easy to use and working website. In the end, surprisingly, it was GLS who picked up the parcel and it made it home quite well and safe. I, however, had to find a way to arrange collection from an address to make it all work. If Ecoparcel also allowed to arrange a way to bring one's parcel to a collection point (e.g., to a GLS or DPD Parcel Shop), their service would be simply perfect. Anyway, looking forward to use Ecoparcel again now, thanks heaps!

Perfect delivery, also really fast!

I had two boxes, one came ripped and my items inside broken and the second no one came to pick it up and got no response or refund.

I used Ecoparcel to return a large and heavy package that wasn’t suitable for standard shipping services. Overall, the experience was great. The platform was easy to use, everything was clear and straightforward, and the service felt very trustworthy — which was especially important to me since it was my first time using them. They sent me a return label right away, and the package was picked up the next day. It arrived in Germany two days later in perfect condition, and I received a track-and-trace link, which gave me peace of mind throughout the process. The only downside was that I couldn’t pay with iDEAL directly, I had to use a credit card to add funds to my account, which initially made me a bit skeptical. But everything went smoothly, and in the end, it was a reliable and efficient solution. Definitely recommend it for larger or heavier shipments.

It's almost impossible to communicate with them. I haven't received the refund I am entitled to, but only the chatbot responds, which is a waste of time. So, if something goes wrong, don't expect any reply from Ecoparcel.
