Back to all reviewsThis was the second time I needed to post camping gear back home to Ireland from Hungary. In the past I used Hungarian Post for that, which worked quite well but cost a lot too. This time I tried to use courier services directly — no dice: GLS stated they don't post to Ireland, DPD didn't respond to inquiries and their app had progress broken at the stage of mandatory destination postcode lookup, UPS and the like cost even more than the Post. Ecoparcel solved this last mile problem very well: competitive pricing, easy to use and working website. In the end, surprisingly, it was GLS who picked up the parcel and it made it home quite well and safe. I, however, had to find a way to arrange collection from an address to make it all work. If Ecoparcel also allowed to arrange a way to bring one's parcel to a collection point (e.g., to a GLS or DPD Parcel Shop), their service would be simply perfect. Anyway, looking forward to use Ecoparcel again now, thanks heaps!
