Create an API key in Odoo
- In Odoo, open your user menu and go to My Profile -> Account Security.
- Under API Keys, click New API Key, confirm your password and give the key a name (e.g. Ecoparcel).
- Copy the generated key—Odoo shows it only once.
Connect your Odoo to Ecoparcel
- In Ecoparcel, go to Integrations -> Odoo.
- Enter your Odoo URL (e.g.
https://company.odoo.com) and your login email. - If you host Odoo yourself, tick I self-host Odoo and fill in your database name.
- Paste the API key you created in Odoo and click Next.
Sync your Odoo orders
- Once the status badge reads Active, go to My Orders in Ecoparcel and select the Unfulfilled tab.
- Click the Manage dropdown and choose Sync Orders to import your outstanding Odoo deliveries.
- Once your parcel ships, the tracking number is written back to the Odoo order automatically.
Show live rates at your checkout
- In Ecoparcel, open Integrations -> Odoo and copy your Connection key (shown once the integration is Active).
- Download the Ecoparcel Shipping addon and install it in your Odoo (place it in your addons folder, update the apps list and install Ecoparcel Shipping).
- Go to Inventory -> Configuration -> Shipping Methods and create a new method with provider Ecoparcel.
- Paste your Connection key, pick a service (Best value, Home delivery or Parcel locker) and save. Create one method per service you want to offer.
- Live Ecoparcel rates now appear on your Odoo eCommerce checkout and sales orders, in your order currency. Keep product weights filled in, as they drive the pricing.
