Good morning, price is calculated using volumetric weight. As size and space used in the lorries/vans/warehouses cost, it's normal that significantly bigger parcels (although weighing the same) cost more. Please check "Volumetric weight" at the FAQ. In addition to that, we do prompt notification when price does change (due to dimensions etc.). UPDATE: The main page is a quick quote, we provided the exact price as soon as all details are provided, as the price is dependent on the postcode as well, thus, all details must be provided straight after the quick quote.

UPDATE 2: We are very sorry for the inconvenience, prices do change, 1kg is considered a tiny package. We offer a significantly lower price for smaller packages. When placing an order for medium-size packages, prices do not change as drastically. Please note, that prices are still one of the lowest considering the competitors for a specified route, as we are a middle-man service, that's one of the best prices currently possible and that we were able to negotiate with a delivery company in question. As a result, sending a 10kg box or 20kg box IE - UK, price increases by only ~€3.

It's unfair to compare tiny and medium-sized packages, as completely different pricing strategies are applied to better suit needs of different merchants/customers.
As in order to diminish the costs for us and our customers, we require multiple details/dimensions for a price to be calculated.
